Naomi album is
a dedication to the artiste's younger daughter - Naomi Lai. It seems
like a children music compilation but in fact, it is holding a number of
inspiring messages. The compositions are mostly constructed by simple
music arrangements but with beautiful melodies. It is quite hard to
forget the songs completely, the melodies are just too easy to remember.
The eye catching cover design was created by Ms. Jill Gao who is currently living in Beijing. Jill is an industry leading illustrator and is now creating illustrations for various major book publishers in China. Peter Lai has sent her an invitation to create an image for the Naomi album in 2010. That was before they know each other. But Jill fell in love with the music and returned him with a digital painting shortly after the invitation. These two artistic minds were quickly synchronized. Peter Lai once described that this digital painting (current cover illustration) has thoroughly expressed the essence of 'Quest of Lore' and 'A Metaphor'. But until today, these two artistes have not yet met each other!
